The Installation Process

We realize that having renovations while living in your home can be inconvenient, so we strive to provide the minimal amount of disruption to your day to day activities. Most kitchens are completed in three to five days and we clean the work area each day so that you can still access your appliances and plumbing in the evening.

Most bathrooms are typically completed in a day.

Steps in the installation:

1. All existing cabinet doors and drawer fronts are removed and discarded as these items as they are not reused.

2.Any cabinet modifications are completed at this time.  Examples include :

  • Create dishwasher opening
  • Converting doors into pots and pan drawers
  • Raise cabinet bottoms to allow for an over the range microwave
  • Making space for a larger refrigerator

3.Installation of new cabinets, drawer boxes, wine racks, Lazy Susans or other accessories. (if requested)

4.Existing cabinets are sanded down to make sure the surface is good for a high quality bond.

5.The refacing occurs now, when cabinet front frames and exteriors are laminated or veneered to match the color and style chosen.

6.Install new door and drawer fronts using European hidden hinges. Soft close is available

7.Install new countertops or re-laminate existing countertops to complete your kitchen. (if requested)
